When you read articles like this it really starts to hit home just how cruel and selfish Mister Putin is. He understands what he is doing. He has chosen to put people’s lives in danger and to facilitate the killing of innocent civilians.
But you will never see the International Court try Putin for war crimes or crimes against humanity. No one is ever going to hold this guy accountable for what he has done to eastern Europe, Georgia, and Syria because he controls nuclear weapons.
While thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were defending their country against Russia’s secret army, Putin was criticizing Ukraine for not allowing its men to surrender. This guy has no qualms about putting the blame for his little war on other people.
I just get really disgusted with Putin. He supposedly sees the US and western Europe as threats to Russia’s influence around the world, but he has done more to destroy that prestige and influence than anyone since Stalin. That’s not a legacy to be proud of, Mister Putin.
